Five months into the year, and our May AD MOTM has done it all.
He has come back from injury and qualified for the Masters Swimming Games in Singapore. He has completed numerous triathlons and placed in the top ten every time.
He has completed swimming sessions as a means to motivate others to do the training.
Now, to cap it all, our May AD MOTM has been selected to represent Australia in the upcoming triathlon and aqua bike series in Wollongong later this year.
We are talking about Keiran Horth, of course. A man with a tenacious attitude, Keiran has had a year to remember.
Keiran’s mentoring and Athlete mindset helped his fellow swimmers to amazing results earlier this year at Homebush Masters NSW Swimming carnival, calming the nerves of many. Keiran provided the perfect platform and soundboard to help those around him.
An example of his dedication and commitment, Keiran swam the lead-off leg in the men’s 4x50mt relay at the NSW Masters Swimming carnival (which qualified him for the World Masters in Singapore), drove home quickly, changed his clothes, and packed his bag to be on the next flight to the Gold Coast to complete a triathlon, recording another top-10 result, which helped his journey towards qualification for the World Championships mentioned earlier.
We know that going forward, this isn’t the last time you’ll be hearing about Keiran’s achievements, but for now, we want to say well done on everything you have managed so far!
