“If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you” – Fred DeVito. The Athletic Department team is committed to helping you reach your fitness goals and break the limits that you have set. Thus we are introducing ‘the Challenge yourself workout’ for every month, starting from the month of October.
First, we told you all about it, then we shared some tips to get a great workout out of this equipment, now we are challenging you to take on this exciting workout designed by the AD Team.
The Ski Erg is in our opinion one of the hardest machines in the AD, and therefore should be something you take on rather than shy away from- Don’t Erg on the side of caution for this workout.
The workout only lasts 10 minutes and it’s you vs the Machine.
It is a distance and body weight workout comprised of pulling for 150metres then as quick as you can complete 12 pushups, returning to the ski erg, and going all over again, the question we want to know is- how many rounds of this can you complete?
Follow these steps for the best workout
1) Press the menu once the screen lights up press Select workout
2) Press New Workout
3) Press Single time- follow the prompts and choose 10 minutes
4) In the words of Irish Rower Paul O’Donovan “Just pull like a dog” and ski for 150m then complete your pushups and go again.
5) Record your workout on the mirror or let the AD Team know your score and we will record it for you.
6) Recover and repeat.
