Well before the legendary “The Sydney Morning Herald” article about how Brendan Maher saved a turtle from the shark net with a bread knife, we have all known that he is anything but “just” a good swimmer. But that’s not everything. This week we have him on the spot as he’s preparing for a legendary marathon: 49 kilometres around Manhattan Island. He will also get to swim under the 20 bridges connecting Manhattan to the mainland.

Brendan, you are an inspiration to others in the club and encourage us to chase our better versions of ourselves every day.
