Thursday 19th August from 17:30 to 18:15 on Zoom

The New South Wales Rugby Union (NSWRU) was established in 1874, making it the oldest provincial rugby body in the southern hemisphere, with 147 years of unique heritage.

The NSWRU is the custodian of rugby in the state and represents three core pillars: Super Rugby and Super W, Elite Youth Development and Community/Grassroots Rugby. NSW Rugby/NSW Waratahs are 56% of all people that play and watch rugby in Australia.

CEO Paul Doorn has the challenge of balancing the running of  professional team the Waratahs, while providing the governance, leadership and direction to community/grassroots rugby in one of the most competitive winter football markets in the world.

With a Waratah Reset 2022 and Rugby AU bidding for the RWC 2027, the Economics of Rugby in NSW is at an all-time high.

Please join us for this exclusive Tattersalls Member webinar, Thursday 19th August from 17:30 to 18:15, where Paul will delve into ‘The Economics of Rugby’.
