Last Thursday 22 May (Recap)

Sometimes, the best nights are the ones that break from the usual routine, and that’s exactly what happened at our recent Paint and Pizza evening. With a brush in one hand and a slice in the other, we embraced creativity, good food, and even better company.
The painting instructor’s motto for the night was simple: ‘Don’t worry if you can’t paint, just enjoy yourself.’ Wise words, especially for those of us who hadn’t touched a paintbrush since school. Thankfully, any artistic hesitation quickly dissolved into laughter as everyone embraced the fun, making light of their own creative struggles.
Before long, I found myself settling into the groove, unwinding with great company and a glass of wine, working on what was shaping up to be my very own masterpiece. The biggest risk of the night was mistaking the paint water jar for my glass of red wine. A near disaster was narrowly avoided!
But amidst the splashes of colour and lively conversations, something unexpected happened: pieces started coming together, and with them, a sense of accomplishment. By the end of the evening, I had not only created something I was proud of but also shared a memorable experience with new friends.
Here’s to more nights of artistic chaos, good food, and even better laughs!
