Visit the heart of Australian thoroughbred breeding, the Hunter Valley, to visit all the leading studs in NSW. With over 50 studs scattered throughout the beautiful Hunter Valley, you’ll visit some of the best including Darley, Coolmore, & Newgate Farm. Mixed amongst the studs are some fantastic wineries, and you’ll be able to drop in for a drink or two.
Then finish the week at the Scone Cup Carnival.

Stand alone tickets for the Scone Cup Carnival. One of the biggest country race days on the NSW racing calendar and a half-day public holiday in Scone. The two day Darley Scone Cup Carnival, incorporating the Darley Scone Cup Race Day and The Dark Jewel Race Day, is the largest country racing carnival in Australia, offering nearly $2M in prize money and stand-alone metropolitan status.
