2ndWind in collaboration with Tattersalls Club is thrilled to introduce our “Sports Breakfast Series” – a monthly rendezvous that promises to inspire, enlighten, and connect. As we gear up to kick off this exciting event, we have some incredible insights to share.
Mark your calendars for the inaugural session of our Sports Breakfast Series, taking place on 19 September from 07:15 to 08:30. Join us for an engaging morning filled with thought-provoking discussions as we delve into the symbiotic relationship between athletes, associations, and businesses on their journey to creating lasting legacies.
Each event in the series promises to be filled with insights from special guest speakers. For the first event, we’re privileged to host Abbie Taddeo and Sarah Carli. Their rich experience and stories are sure to ignite your passion for sports, cooperation, and legacy-building.
Abbie Taddeo, a name synonymous with excellence in the sports world, is an Australian 100m hurdler and sprinter. With over a decade of elite sporting experience, Abbie’s achievements have included being a 3x International Medalist in the 4x100m relay and 100m hurdles. She held the 60m NSW State Championship for five consecutive years straight. Drawing from her remarkable achievements, Abbie’s insights will undoubtedly inspire and empower all those in attendance.
Sarah Carli made her Olympic debut at the 2021 Tokyo Games and finished sixth in the women’s 400m hurdles at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Carli marked her international status when at the 2011 World Youth Championships she claimed silver in the 400m hurdles. Her expertise will offer a roadmap to creating win-win scenarios and fostering a community that’s prepared for success.
Our Sports Breakfast Series aims to unravel the secret behind the success of athletes and the crucial role businesses play in this journey. Through this series of conversations, we intend to foster a deeper understanding of how these elements collaborate harmoniously to create legacies that resonate for generations to come. With the Brisbane 2032 Olympics on the horizon, there’s no better time to delve into this topic.
