Our squash coaching series with former world champ Michelle Martin is just over half way, with a full house each week of Members making the most of Michelle’s vast experience and expertise! Just some of the comments below:

“Michelle has been amazing. She knows exactly what you need to work on and improve to progress your game further.”

“I sign up for this series each year as it is always tailored to individual needs and I can always learn something new.”

If you missed this series, keep an eye out later in the year for the next!

Next up, we are looking for Members to form a Tattersalls team to play in the annual and 69th running of the City Houses Squash Teams Competition, starting May 10th and running over the following months.

This is an event played between companies, sporting clubs or just a team of friends within the Sydney CBD. Tattersalls have had teams in the comp for the last five years, with our team in the D3 grade winning in our first year in the comp! Can you bring the trophy home again this year?

Details of the comp are below:

  1. There are four players in each team that play on comp night. However, we list a few reserves in each team in case some players are unavailable.
  2. All of our comp matches are at our Tattersalls court – so every night is a home night.
  3. Comp nights start at 17:30 and finish at about 20:00 – however, if you need to play first and leave early or come late, arrangements can be made.
  4. The comp is a graded event so the Tattersalls team will be placed in a grade of like skilled players.

City Houses also has a women’s grade (beginner to novice) if we have enough players for a ladies team.

There is quite a social side to the City Houses Comp, with cocktail nights during the season which are also held at the Club and are free or cost very little.

$85 per person.

To RSVP to join the Tattersalls City Houses team, please contact Sara at sarapeelgrane@tattersallsclub.org or on 9263 9202.
