With Easter and ANZAC Day falling close together this year, many members are enjoying some well-earned downtime. While it’s the perfect opportunity to relax, spend time with loved ones, and indulge in a few seasonal treats, it’s also a time when routines can slip. The good news? Staying healthy over the break doesn’t mean missing out—it just means being mindful.
Here are a few simple ways to keep your body moving and your mind clear over the holiday period:
- Keep it moving: Even a short daily walk or a light home workout can make a big difference. Our club facilities remain open throughout the break (check the adjusted hours), so pop in for a gym session, swim, or group class to stay on track.
- Find balance: Easter chocolate and ANZAC biscuits are part of the fun—enjoy them! Just try to balance indulgences with nutritious meals and plenty of water. Your body (and energy levels) will thank you.
- Prioritise rest: Health isn’t just physical—take time to switch off, recharge, and be present. ANZAC Day, in particular, is a meaningful time for reflection and gratitude.
- Plan ahead: If you’re travelling or entertaining, a little planning goes a long way. Pack activewear, schedule in a morning stretch, or bring a healthy dish to share.
Whether you’re away or staying local, we encourage all members to keep wellness in mind over the break. And if you’re around, we’d love to see you at the Club!
