Osteo Strong is a class designed for our members aged 50 and over.

We all know that we should be lifting weights at least twice a week to maintain a healthy muscle mass and bone density.

As we get more “life experience,” this becomes extremely important.

It has been shown that weightlifting is beneficial for older adults because it helps maintain muscle mass, improves strength and balance, and reduces the risk of falls and fractures. It also contributes to better blood sugar control, cardiovascular health, and can even help prevent cognitive decline. Essentially, strength training can significantly enhance quality of life and independence as we age.

To assist members in their strength training, Tattersalls is now offering 2 x 45-minute weight training/bearing classes for our members to attend.

Every Tuesday and Thursday at 09:00, the class will be guided by Senior Trainer Chris Grob, who will be following a detailed and structured plan.
