It is without a doubt we have one of Sydney’s best pools for our members.

A heated oasis overlooking Hyde Park with its own café and lounge chairs, for many it’s the reason why they joined Tattersalls.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 05:30 onwards our squads are busy turning up the laps and hitting their targets and goals, while Wednesday stroke correction helps provide our Members with the ideal technique and training powers to complete some amazing challenges.

We are now calling for expressions of interest in adding aqua aerobics to our already dynamic timetable.

Aqua aerobics (also called water aerobics and aquafit) is a form of exercise which provides cardiovascular conditioning, increasing your pulse and your breathing rate.

Aqua aerobics is similar to a normal aerobics class, but since it’s done in the water, it places less strain on your joints.

Aqua aerobics is a beneficial all-over workout. This form of water exercise is also suitable for people of all ages, including older people, and can quickly improve your overall fitness.

The class will be instructor-led and will run for 45 minutes weekly.

The current planning consists of one class a week running for 45 minutes starting at 11:00 (with the day to be determined although it looks likely like a Wednesday or Friday) starting mid-October.

If the idea of participating in this class ongoing interests you please let us know by emailing the Athletic Manager Malcolm directly at athleticmgr@tattersallsclub.org

Please note this class will need a minimum of 5 ongoing participants to commence.
