Any wine that rates between 95 and 100 points in the Halliday Wine Companion is considered to be outstanding, of the highest quality and often with a distinguished pedigree. So getting 99 points is an extraordinary achievement, of which just over 10 wines have found themselves in that league since 2010.

Tattersalls is very fortunate to secure 2 of the 10 wines that have scored 99 points: The 2017 Henschke Hill of Grace and 2017 Yarra Yering Dry Red No 2.

Our Halliday section of the Tattersalls new wine list not only consists of the 99ers, but wines of iconic producers, best wine, best in category and the year’s best winery. And this is why the team do what they do best, curate a list where the lure of being able to taste some of the best wines in Australia as judged by Australia’s most respected wine critic.
