With less than 5 weeks to till our next Tattersalls based goal the wheels are in full motion of September being better than ever.
This year Tattersalls is taking part in Steptember a low impact fun event that everyone can participate in.
How you Steptember is completely up to you, but we do ask that if you have the ability to track your steps (via a fitness tracker or the health app in your phone) it does help us a Club keep the most accurate result.
The first goal for Tattersalls is to raise awareness of the benefits of low to moderate cardio.
Walking 10,000 steps a day has been shown to improve cardiovascular health, help with weight management, and enhanced mental well-being.
It can also help in preventing or managing chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes, and certain cancers.
Additionally, it contributes to better sleep quality and overall mood.
The second goal is helping others in need. Steptember’s primary focus is helping to support babies (and their families) with cerebral palsy in their first 1,000 days, this is the most important time for development. With early therapy, more kids take their first steps, say their first words, and shape a future full of possibility.
