We are delighted to welcome Mr. Robert John Rowlands back to the Tattersalls Club Committee. Please see his statement below:
“During the period from January 2011 to December 2023 I was a Committee member and during that period I was responsible for oversight of the various issues impacting the Tattersalls Club property holding.
As part of that appointment, I negotiated the Daltone House Lease for the level 3 premises, the Red Bottle lease of the Ground Floor premises, provided annual input to the premises valuation for the clubs Stratum Premises, provided input and advice regarding a proposal for proposed disposal of the service easements, was actively involved in negotiations with the former owner of the adjoining Strata for the sale and upgrade of the office space to a Hotel and apartments, advice on land valuations undertaken by the Valuer General for Council rating and Land TAX purposes, I provided advices on premises valuation for Balance Sheet reporting purposes.
Apart from the above I have been and continue to be involved in the ongoing property maintenance programme for the Club premises.”
Mr. Rowlands has been a dedicated member of the Club since 1982 and served on the Committee during the historic admission of female members. Over the years, he has actively participated in various sub-clubs and activities. We are confident that his ongoing contributions will play a key role in the Club’s growth and development in the years ahead.
