They are all finalists alongside Tattersalls Club in this year’s NSW Sommelier Wine list awards. Not for the first time (In fact the 3rd, yes x 3) Tattersalls have been awarded a NSW Wine Star for our expertly crafted Wine list. Esmond has carefully over many years continued to curate an excellent Australian only wine list.
The awards are run by NSW Wine Industry Association with an aim to celebrate excellence in some of the leading wine producers in NSW, and to recognise venues with outstanding wine lists that support the diversity and quality of local wines.
With over 250 applicants this year, after a diligent evaluation by judges Dane Richards (Editor News for the Food Lover and President NSW) and Mark Baulderstone (MD Riedel Spiegelau Nachimann Australia), only 42 finalists were selected. Acclaimed for its rigorous judging process, the NSW Sommelier’s Wine List Awards has established its standing as the state’s most influential wine competition.
The winners will be announced at Parliament House in June/July. But in the meantime, come in and enjoy the Club’s Australian wines-only list curated by the team, and let the Club show you the power of New World wines.
