Maddy has been a Member since 2020 and a frequent user of the Members’ Bar until she became a mum to beautiful Aria Jane Tilley, born three months ago. She recently got to review April’s whisky of the month, the Connemara Distiller’s Edition Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey.
Colour: Golden
Nose: Crisp and hard on the nose
Taste: At first I got a bite but then it goes down very smooth. It’s smoky and woody at the same time
Finish: Short lasting and crisp with strong smoked wood
Although she is not as much a whiskey connoisseur as she is with wine, she did recommend it neat, without ice! Also, she recommended all women to try whiskey, whether you’ve had whiskey before or not!
